EHI is a network of retailers, retail associations, wholesalers and their suppliers. Our main work is the continuous research on relevant issues in the retail industry. We do several research projects on logistics, IT, marketing, loss prevention, payment, store design, real estate, energy management, packaging, multichannel retail and the overall structure of retail in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. All our reports are published in German. The company was founded in 1951 and has more than 800 members. EHI cooperates with the most important international institutes and associations in this sector.
